$125 per session
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Some insurances require that you pay a deductible before the insurance will pay for counseling. If this is the case, please note that payment for services are due at the time of session. You will want to check your coverage carefully before your session by asking your insurance provider the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- Do I have a co-pay? If so how much is it?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
For those without insurance, reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
I accept payment by cash or check in the office, and I can accept major credit cards through PayPal. I currently accept Anthem; Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Community Health Options; United Behavioral Health (UBH); UnitedHealthCare; Harvard Pilgrim; EBPA (Maine General Health); Martin's Point; MHN; and Optim. I work with various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and I am a provider for out of network benefits.
A 48 hour notice is required for cancellations.
